ZENeSYS has proven methodologies for advising clients on challenges such as how to get ahead of competition, create innovative products and advice on market entry.   ZENeSYS is looking to hire a Management Consultant who will work in our fast growing strategy practice core team. Duties include, hands on research, analysis, report writing, interfacing with clients, developing solutions for cases, leading intern teams and mentoring them.   This is a challenging job for someone who has just completed at least two years as a research analyst at a reputable consulting firm and is now to move into a full management-consulting role. He or She will be fully empowered to run or lead a management consulting engagement end-to-end.   This job is rare opportunity because it offers global experience, a break into management consulting and opportunity to work on cutting edge business challenges.   Role and Experience  1. Client Interaction: Accountable to client directly. He/she should be able to understand client requirements and translate them for structured analysis and synthesis. Provide regular update to the client on progress of projects and be able to conduct remote workshops for information gathering, client presentations and gathering feedback upon project completion.   2. Facilitating Skills: During mentoring sessions, the candidate should be able to act as an expert and caring facilitator towards the MBA interns. He/she should act as a role model and be able to inspire and motivate intern team members.  3. Project Management Candidate should be experienced in project management. He/she should be able to anticipate risks and find creative ways of mitigating them. He/she should be absolutely responsible for deadlines and quality of work to the highest standards expected of our clients.   4. Self-Sufficient: There will be times when student interns fall short on depth and quality, In such situations the candidate must be able to fill in the gaps in research, analysis, synthesis and report creation. In other words, you needs to be a hands/on person.   5. Communications Skills: As in any management-consulting role, the candidate must demonstrate par excellence skills in communications. This is not just the spoken and written command over the English language but also the ability to listen well and the ability to communicate complex ideas to clients and interns in an efficient manner.   6. Ability To Work Flexible Hours: Our core team members must work to synchronize with US hours. However, there is tremendous amount of flexibility as long as candidate can put in the desired quality and quantity of hours.   Qualifications  1. Professional Experience: Must have at least 2 years experience at a consulting or consulting support (Analyst) role. Experience with KPOs like Evalueserve, Datamonitor, MCKC or Bain Capability Center would be of certain importance.   2. MBA From Top 25: Must be an MBA from a reputed MBA school. At least ranked under 25 in India.   3. Independent Worker: Must have a proven track record of demonstrating independently working on consulting projects.   4. Excellent Communications Skills:   a. Must have a good command over spoken English and ability to communicate effectively with US/EU clients over phone and web meetings.  b. Must be able to write well. Must have past examples of written materials such as reports and presentations.   5. Must be able to deal with “The Abstract”: Candidates who have worked in process environments or only feel comfortable when there are “set rules of the game” will not be a good fit. On the other hand, if you are an artist, love solving puzzles or enjoy mystery novels, then this will be the most exciting career opportunity for you.   6. Preferred Sector Experience: Desirable to have experience in one or more of the following sectors. Healthcare, Retail, Energy, Finance or Information Technology.  7. Must Have some strong IT Skills: Must be an expert in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Ability to create clean, professional and imaginative graphics in reports. Good PowerPoint skills are an absolute must.   8. References: Must provide minimum three solid references.
