Job Title : Chief Marketing Officer   Reports to : CEO  Location : Kolkata  Position Summary : The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of an organization's marketing and advertising initiatives. The CMO ensures the organization's message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives. Her/ his primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations  Duties and Responsibilities :  - Oversee all marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision  - Create and head a team of highly energetic marketing professionals and direct the company's marketing efforts towards great success  - - Listening to the trends of the market and directing the market research efforts of the company  - Liaising with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands  - Defining marketing strategies to support the company's overall business strategies and objectives  - Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day to day implementation  - Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (branding, communications, product development etc.) with a target to ensure they project the company's unique voice it's mission and vision  - Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, public relations and other marketing initiatives with a view to create greater demand generation across various channels such as print, electronic, radio, SMS blasts, outdoor and creative marketing collaterals   - Be responsible for the experience management of customers  - Create SOPs for the customer onboarding journey  - Ideate and create cutting edge marketing collaterals  - Ideate and create Brand Manuals, Sales Manuals and Office D-cor Manuals etc.  - Control spends and ensure lowering the cost of acquisition  - Create alternate channels of customer acquisition and revenue generation  - Should be able to balance a practical mindset with creative business acumen and lead people through complex marketing operations  - Ensure that the company's marketing efforts are successful in outperforming competition  - Create a solid network of strategic partnerships  Desired skills and experience :  - CMO must be a leader with both analytical and creative abilities, she/ he must possess extensive knowledge in a wide array of disciplines such as production, information technology, sales, finance and legal. She/ he should be able to plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance to organizational goals  - Should be passionate towards her/ his profession and have entrenched knowledge for all facets of marketing  - Superb analytical skills  - Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team  - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills  - Flexibility  - Passionate customer advocacy  - Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management  - Deep understanding of changing market dynamics, market research and data analysis methods  - Entrepreneurial spirit  - Should be able to inspire multiple teams to achieve great result  - Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects  Educational qualification :  - A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university  - Full- time MBA from a premier business school with specialization in Marketing
