Candidates who enjoy being immersed in the mechanics of the financial markets will flourish in this role.  Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):  - Analysis and optimization of clearing, settlement, stock loan and other activities.  - Working with internal teams to define and automate reports on key data relating to  - WorldQuant's global operations.  - Reconciling WorldQuant's business globally and handling breaks with counter parties.  - Enhancing software tools and processes to meet challenges as the firm expands its reach in to other asset classes.  Job Qualifications:  - Graduates in Computer Science, Engineering or related areas.  - For the Senior Operations Analyst, in addition to Computer Science or engineering degrees, preference will be given to candidates with an MBA degree from a top university.  - For the Operations Analyst, the required experience is 2-3 years in development and for the Senior Operations Analyst, the required experience is 6-7 years. Experience in leading a team of software engineers would be a plus.  - Understanding of or a strong motivation to learn the Equity, FX and Derivatives life-cycles.  - Experience in scripting languages, databases, and a Linux shell command is a plus.  - Be dedicated and self-disciplined with a strong work ethic and be willing to help others.  - Be proactive and possess good communication skills within a team environment.
