WNS - Senior Group Manager/Assistant Vice President - Finance - IFRS

- Fair background of accounting standards of IFRS (Preferred),US GAAP

The candidate should have some exposure to revenue standard ( IAS 18 ). If yes, the candidate would know the below concepts :

- Multiple element

- Gross vs. net accounting

- Fair value

- Have done review of client contracts for the companies and played an advisory role for accounting of revenue at every reporting period

- This role will require ensuring proper accounting and booking of revenue in line with the revenue recognition checklist prepared by the IFRS team and ensuring complete assurance of revenue by understanding the revenue process and identifying the key risks from revenue recognition perspective

- More of an advisory role to the business unit and will include lot of technical guidance for business combination, lease, stock compensation etc. This will be a pure technical role
