Role Description :
The certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt will serve as Black Belt to provide customer driven oriented results and process improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma strategies. The Black Belt will be responsible for analysis, facilitation, LSS & GB trainings, mentoring, project reporting and driving process improvements projects leading to quality improvement, cost reduction and customer benefits.
Job Description :
- Drive Transformational projects .
- Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management.
- Mentor all the projects (both internal & external Assignments)
- Institutionalize Six Sigma & Lean practices
- Manage and driving Quality Methodologies & corporate initiatives
- Responsible for business level strategies to improve the current system
- Improve the DNA of the vertical by ensuring a proper system of training, certification and process improvement in the business assigned
- Work in coordination with the business on project identification, selection, and prioritization.
- Train and coach project sponsors to drive project execution. Train and coach LSS Black Belts and Green Belts through project execution leading up to certification.
- Conduct classroom instruction for Green Belt courses as well as Executive/Project Sponsor Workshop, Project Identification and Selection Workshop.
- Provide superior solution development through detailed analysis, identification of alternate delivery mechanisms and recommendation of preferred Lean Six-Sigma approaches
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities :
- Adherence to BLSS & Green Belt training and certification program.
- Drive transformational projects and ensure financial benefits to aligned business
- Meet revenue targets for aligned business
- Internal & External stakeholder management
- Drive productivity improvement and quality initiatives within team
Knowledge/Qualifications/ Competency :
- Any Graduate - However a Post Graduate in Mathematics or statistics / MBA from a leading business school - Preferred
- Good Communication / Presentation Skills
- Back Belt Certified Mandatory - 3 & 4 yrs in Process Excellence Mandatory
- 10 to 12 years relevant experience in Banking Financials (Mortgage, Card products, Collection, C-SAT, Fraud business, Trade) Preferred
- Banking - Project experience- 1 Yr Mandatory - US / Middle East - Work experience in Banking Preferred.
- Well versed with Minitab -Strong understanding of Six Sigma and lean tools.
- Strong Project Management / Change Management skills.
- Ability to work under extreme pressure situations.
- Problem solving orientation. Analytical skills and dealing with ambiguity.
- Strong people and relationship management skills . Understanding of Investment & Finance Accounting banking services
- Process analysis, documentation and enhancement using methodologies like LEAN, Six Sigma
Special Role Requirement :
- Willing to travel across sites & locations
- Accuracy & integrity in data handling
- Ability to work with people and teams of diversified / different priorities
- Should have a Valid passport
- UK shifts
