Designation: Group Manager Collections Compliance

Reporting to (Designation): Sr. Vice President Client Services

Job Responsibilities:

- Compliance Management: Responsible for compliance to contract, BPRM Compliance, Operations Risk assessment and compliance, coordination with operations, transaction quality, process improvement, WNS BPRM and WNS Risk teams.

- Internal interactions: Conduct self professionally and ensure transparent and optimal interactions with all departments in WNS not restricted to Operations, Risk, BPRM and other teams as deemed necessary.

- Team Management and People Development: Influence teams who do not report to this role and motivate them to remain compliant. Effectively implement rewards/recognition, appraisal & Incentive programs. Create cross-functional teams to encourage team building.

- Landscape Research: research the Australian landscape for E&U (Energy and Utilities) domain and ensure that all training material, methods of reporting, Compliance measures and Ombudsman related topics and understand impact to current contract and other ventures that the BU wishes to undertake.

Qualifications/ Academics expected:

- Min 7 years of experience in a BPO. Graduation/Post Graduation.

- At least 2 years of experience in a Compliance / Audit role

- Exposure to Contracts/Legal/Regulatory Compliance/ RFPs etc. preferred

- Preferred: Experience within the Utilities Domain, Exposure to UK market preferred.

Competencies/ Skill set:

- Utilities market exposure

- Understanding of the Australian Utilities / Energy market preferred - especially around the regulatory framework

- Experience in Compliance management, audits and/or transactional quality for outbound and inbound collections and related back-office processes

- Able to demonstrate that individual was able to learn from own experiences or those of the Organization/team.

- Experience working in milestone and deadline driven environment

- Ability to liaise with different departments and business owners as required.

- Ability to influence leadership; work with people to drive towards common solutions and issue resolutions.

- Experience in working in teams who are busy delivering their projects.

- Experience in Quality Management

- Good numerical and analytical ability

- Proven business acumen

- Good Understanding of Contracts/Risks
