Role overview

- The role is with the WNS Research & Analytics Team. Selected candidate will be responsible for Project delivery, Team Management, Client engagement, Manage contractual aspects of engagement etc.

- The role also requires excellent communication and presentation skills along with extensive experience in technologies like SAS/Other BI tools.

Job description

1. Conversion of the business requirement into data specifications

2. Develops predictive models for key decisions in prospect target and account management.

3. Develops model-based strategies in approving applications and initial line assignment.

4. Assesses the risk of new and ongoing products and portfolio strategies through the application of advanced data-driven analysis and predictive modeling.

5. Develops, implements and maintains predictive models, scores and systems for automated decision-making Assist as a key member on strategic projects cross functional areas.

6. Strong analytical skills, manage and execute data flows around modeling

7. Produce post model performance reports including data gathering

8. Model monitoring, deployment and scoring

9. Present findings to internal customers and business partners.

Skills and competencies required

1. Must have some exposure and experience in a similar role

2. Masters in Statistics or quantitative field strongly preferred

3. Solid experience with SAS, SQL and Teradata

4. Solid experience with SAS data analysis and statistical modeling procedures

5. Strong Problem Identification, Problem Solving and Analytical skills

6. Should have exposure in direct client interaction/management

7. Competent In Communication (Verbal and Written)

8. Good Listening and Interpersonal skills to be able to engage with business clients and work effectively
