Solution Architect - Government Business

Wipro is seeking a person for a leadership role within our Presales Organization. The role is for a Solutions Architect. This person will be responsible for thought leadership, business requirement definition and architecture definition for a set of target accounts.

The person will provide thought leadership, consulting collaboration, solutions development and sales support. This is a global position based in Bangalore, India.

The person will be responsible for working with our clients and prospects, our Global Client Partners and their leadership team, and our Alliance partners on the following:

- Develop resolutions fixing our customer's key business problems

- Grow strategic trusted advisor relationships with the client based on respect and results

- Build successful Solutions including technology components and help take them into the marketplace

- Assist in selling and leading delivery of software solutions developed by your team

You will be responsible for interfacing with key decision makers within clients, prospects and Wipro to drive, as well as further build the Wipro brand via strong products and thought leadership.

The ideal candidate would have the following background :

- 10+ years of deep delivery or architecting experience ( in product or service organizations)

- 5+ years of experience defining software products

- Demonstrated experience delivering commercially successful products from - ideation to retirement-

- Outstanding ability to create successful results in a matrixed organizational environment

- Strong written and oral communication skills in English

Candidate should also be able to:

- Develop close relationships with key clients and define requirements to validate and incorporate feedback from clients

- Create value Propositions by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of these technologies and where Wipro is uniquely able to meet client requirements

- Define pricing and work with executives to get buy-in and approval for pricing

- Respond to RFI's and RFP's

Key factors :

- We expect this person to be self driven and independent in his way of working

- High exposure opportunity for right candidate

- Must be willing to travel as needed
