The state-of-the-art greenfield precision manufacturing facility is located in the Aerospace SEZ near Devanahalli.   Website:www.wiproinfra.com  Desired Candidate Profile:   Qualifications - Desired Experience:   BE/BTECH in Mechanical Engineering   18 to 20 years of experience in managing Production and PPC activities in a high-tech manufacturing environment  Key Skills Required:   - Should have had prior experience in leading Production   - Should be well versed with the latest in manufacturing methods & technology  - Experience in managing Production Planning & Control activities – scheduling & integrating supply chain processes/activities  - Knowledge of manufacturing layouts and material handling / storage systems  - Experience of Lean and Six Sigma in manufacturing  - People Management – demonstrated experience in managing the shopfloor – engineers and machine operators.   - Should be well versed in shopfloor practices pertaining to Safety, Kaizen, 5S etc  - Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory  Target Companies:   - Premier Precision Engineering, Aerospace and Auto Component manufacturing companies with global processes and customers  Position Details  Key Accountabilities:   - Managing the production process   - Ensuring that cost, efficiency, quality, delivery and other performance targets are met  - Ensure that health and safety norms are followed  - Ensuring resource availability and zero line stoppage  - Production planning for the plant including planning and scheduling workflow for each work centre according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times  - Monitoring load at all work centres on a daily basis and triggering timely action to avoid idle time.  - Assessing load vs capacity and working with shop supervisors to identify material constraints/ capacity issues and trigger timely action.   - Implement measures to improve utilization and efficiency of work centres.  - Work closely with Sourcing / Purchasing, Logistics, Stores to integrate In-house and sub-contract production activities to ensure adherence to plan.  - Analyze output vs plan on weekly basis and initiate corrective actions.
