Job Summary :

This career opportunity is with Wipro's Strategic marketing group. The role of Business Marketing Manager is responsible for overall positioning and marketing of SBU (Vertical).

- The role will lead the business marketing team of SBU's and report into the Business Leadership and the CMO

- The business marketing team is responsible for driving marketing programs with the business teams to help achieve business objectives.

The role has 4 major goal areas :

- Business theme marketing

- Image building

- Customer Connect

- Operational excellence

Roles and Responsibilities : Major Responsibilities

Business Theme Marketing :

Theme Creation & Articulation :

- Create and articulate an end-to-end market offering which capitalizes SBU's domain strength and backs it up with technology services.

- The theme would be created as - market package- for a business theme and would involve working with domain solution teams, sales and technology service lines.

- The theme is to be driven as a campaign focused on key markets and customers utilizing multiple marketing channels and mediums through the functional teams.

Marketing strategy :

- Involvement in the business planning and market segmentation which involves customer targeting and tracking, projecting technology trends, competition analysis and thus creating and implementing a marketing strategy to deliver to business objectives.

Image Development Functional Excellence :

- Positioning and Branding: Defining and building the value proposition for the business and its offerings; helping create winning propositions and messaging for GTM.

- Influence Relations: Proactive management of key influence relations

- Functional excellence: Manage and provide leadership to functional teams in marketing to deliver to business in various functional areas- Analyst Relations, Media, Digital, Brand & Marcom, Events, and Thought Leadership etc.

Customer Connect :

- Customer relationship management: Managing key customer connects, ensuring support to Account based marketing activities, Building a sustain CRM campaign, with customer testimonials and case studies

- Create opportunities for sustained customer engagement through marketing such as customer council, events and communication

Sales Enablement & Operational Excellence :

- Creating content and managing positioning for the digital channels, creating sales kits including case studies, whitepapers, presentations etc.

- Work with business and sales teams to drive brand and marketing initiatives

- Drive marketing operations to support marketing plans

- Derive process, methods and tactics to improve marketing delivery and measurement

- Support corporate initiatives

- Excellence in Business analysis to address customer problems, quick analytical thinking, and able to have focused energy in transforming the requirements into solutions.

Outstanding leadership and communication skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication style. Ability to confidently build a strong rapport with project teams and the customer teams. Good networking skills to work across different multi-cultural teams towards focused goal.

- Comfortable in interacting with and presenting to executives and senior business leaders

Self-Guided Attitude :

- Qualified candidates will understand how to produce results when working in challenging client environments and/or new business areas.

Experience and skill set required :

- MBA with specialization in Marketing / Finance desired

- 12-15 years of Industry Experience in Strategy, Business Consulting, Business Development and Strategic Marketing

- Deep understanding of technology and business. Having demonstrated clear strategy and deep domain experience.
