Designation: Senior Manager - Business Development

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: Country Director - Digital & New Initiatives

Key Interfaces: Bank Partners, GMT Marketing, GMT Service Delivery, Digital & Technology

Overall objective :

Establish and manage India outbound remittances business - across the lifecycle. This is a new business that being setup from scratch at Western Union.

Responsibilities :

- Establish contractual partnerships with banks in India to offer outbound remittances using WU, in line with regulatory guidelines.

- Establish WU digital (WU.com, WU app) in India in partnership with banks, in line with regulatory guidelines

- Work along with other functions in the organization to create, implement and promote digital customer journeys for Outbound consumers in India

- Run target segment focused go-to-market and promotions with bank partners and WU marketing in order to grow the business and achieve outbound KPIs

- Work with receive countries to grow India outbound business, create initiative focused on target segments

Qualifications :

Work experience :

- Previous experience in cross-border outbound regulatory framework & remittance industry - preferably with a bank in India

- Previous experience in implementing digital projects, specially customer journeys in the financial industry

- Previous experience in managing digital partnerships in Financial industry

- Knowledge of industry initiatives such as India stack, eKYC and Aadhaar

- Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully

Strategic/customer: Bank partnerships, Digital customer journey for Outbound

- Efficiency/effectiveness: Launch of WU digital properties in India.

Financial: Outbound principal, outbound revenue, WU market-share in outbound segment
