Company brief:  Below is the job description for Manager – Marketing, WeAreHolidays.com – One of India's fastest growing travel startups- It is a marketplace offering customized vacation options for Indians traveling outside India- WeAreHolidays (WAH Holiday Private Limited), a 2011 company, is charging ahead with the vision of creating the largest marketplace for Indians going on holiday.  The founding team has extensive experience of working at MakeMyTrip, and includes Engineers (from IIT & other reputed institutes), Management graduates (from IIM & other reputed institutes) and numerous souls who’ve chosen the road less travelled on their entrepreneurial journeys.  Since its inception, WeAreHolidays has been in numerous national publications and media outlets including the The Economic Times , CNBC Awaaz, Corporate Dossier, Your Story, Tnooz, Medianama and others- WeAreHolidays has thousands of customers and is growing at a phenomenal pace in India- WeAreHolidays is a venture-funded company with leading VC fund (Silicon Valley & India based) and backing from prominent angel investors in India.  We’re looking for a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, a strong ownership/commitment, and experience in incubating and maturing our business in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment- Above all, we’re looking for an ‘I Will’ attitude over a ‘We Shall’.  Key responsibilities of the individual:  - Candidate would be the sole custodian of the overall customer experience with the brand WAH- Role includes measuring customer satisfaction (CSAT scores/Net promoter score) and devising ways and means to enhance it on an ongoing basis.  - Handle weekly/fortnightly product newsletters as well as carry out various on-site consumer surveys to get a answers to key business level experiments.  - Single point of contact for customers who are extremely happy/unhappy and write positive/negative reviews on public forums like mouth-shut, consumer complaint forms etc.  - Candidate would drive the overall brand loyalty/engagement and figure out ways and means to delight current and potential customers  - Candidate would be required to plan and execute BTL activities/offline promotions and look for opportunities of partnership with other brands at an overall brand level.  - Candidate would also be responsible for broad customer outreach/offline programs  Key skills required:  - Customer centricity  - Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience through obsessive attention to detail   - Relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo)   - Is able to dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business- Thinks big, without losing the details-   - Expects and requires innovation of her/his team   - Has passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in others   - Has an MBA degree from a reputed institute   - Bonus – Is a MBA from a tier 1 institute   - Bonus points for previous start-up experience   - Good written communication and documentation abilities   - Strong inter-personal skills, intense curiosity, and a desire and ability to "get things done"   - Able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic start up environment   - Willing to push the boundaries to discover new possibilities   - Hungry for growth, on a personal & organizational level
