Below is the job description for finance lead - WeAreHolidays.com, one of India's fastest growing travel startups. It is a marketplace offering customized vacation options for Indians traveling outside India. WeAreHolidays (WAH Holiday Private Limited), a 2011 company, is charging ahead with the vision of creating the largest marketplace for Indians going on holiday.

Its founding team has extensive experience of working at MakeMyTrip, and includes Engineers (from IIT & other reputed institutes), Management graduates (from IIM & other reputed institutes) and numerous souls who- ve chosen the road less travelled on their entrepreneurial journeys.

It is a venture-funded company with Matrix Partners (Silicon Valley & India based) as the lead investor. Matrix Partners has invested in several market leaders in the consumer technology space including Quikr (online classifieds), Olacabs (cab marketplace), Stayzilla (stays marketplace), LimeRoad (social commerce marketplace), Mswipe (mobile POS),

NewsHunt (local language mobile platform) and U2opia (social mobile apps) among others.The company also has Blume ventures as one of its investors. As someone who would be joining the team, you need to be a self-starter and show strong ownership/commitment and have experience in incubating and maturing a business in this fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What We Expect :-

- Heading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, Implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control

- Formulating business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation, minimizing working capital & realizing organizational goals

- Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by preparing financial statements viz., P&L Account, Balance Sheet and annual reports.

- Monthly management reporting, updating reporting decks & management reviews with Finance Management as required

- Monthly MIS, Cash Flow, Budgeting & Variance Analysis

- Statutory Compliances under-Income Tax, Vat, Service Tax & Companies Act.

The ideal candidate for this profile will be someone who :

- Has passion and conviction and the innate ability to inspire passion in others

- CA with Min 3 Years of experience in in Accounting functions (Managing day to day accounts, review of books of accounts & MIS)

- Has good written communication and documentation abilities

- Has strong inter-personal skills, intense curiosity, and a desire and ability to "get things done"
