Wealth Whispers is bootstrapped by a couple of Finance geeks who know their way around investments like google maps knows directions. We passed out from NMIMS batch of 2010 and made our careers in Investment Banking & Venture Capital/Equity Research respectively. We took the plunge a year ago to research the financial services industry and built an AuM of INR 30crs in that time.  The problem that we are looking to solve-   In a country of more than a billion people, there are only than ~0.075bn have invested in mutual fund SIPs. There are an estimated 125,000 HNIs who are being catered by a total IFA base ~15,000-20,000.  What about the rest of the folks- They invest in FDs and park their money in Savings deposits - Easiest way to erode wealth. Savings to GDP ratio continues to be very high as compared other emerging economies and most of the participation comes from the top 10 cities in India.   Existing solutions in online Personal Finance/Robo-advisory space are merely taking the process from offline to online without really leveraging the power of technology. So, Wealth Whispers is looking for a techie who can lead our efforts in solving this multi-billion dollar problem on the technology front. It's an added bonus if you know how the financial services industry functions.  If have the confidence to build and lead a tech team from scratch which can solve this massive problem then we are looking for you!  Experience-   We think confidence + ability - experience.  We are less interested in the number of years you may have slaved away working for that fat monthly salary and ESOP. We want to give you the opportunity to build your own start-up with us.  Where do we work out of-   We didn't have a garage nor a large enough flat. Fortunately, we found a dysfunctional small office in the at Princess Street, stones throw away from the Financial hub of Mumbai from where we run our operations.
