VP/Sr VP/Director - IT - Java/J2EE - Investment Bank

We are 9 to 6 Management Consultants, specialist recruiters for Banking & finance domain.

Currently we are considering your profile for an assignment with A Premier INVESTMENT Bank for position of VP/Sr VP/Director. Position is based at Bangalore/Mumbai.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Own and publish the monthly Executive Management Report which requires coordination with all Technology line of business (LOB) teams and support functions (HR, Training, Risk, etc).

- Coordinate and drive cross LOB technology delivery metrics collation across application development and support projects.

- Represent India in the Global Technology Project Management Office (PMO) forum.

- Set-up and run India Technology wide PMO Forum.

- Coordination of transition management activities in coordination the CAO Control & oversight team and Technology migration.

- Assist the Technology Chief of Staff in strategic initiatives run across the India Technology organization (employee engagement initiatives, organizational capability / maturity assessment, technology career fair, technology hub oversight initiatives). Interact with the local and Global teams on above initiatives.

- Back-up the Technology Chief of Staff, as require

- Ad-hoc responsibilities as allocated by the Technology Chief of Staff.

Technologies: (3 different profiles with all the levels open)

- Core Java, Spring multi-threading

- Core Java, C++, Sybase Perl

- Hands on experience with Java, J2EE.

Key Competencies, Skills & traits:

- Strong Program management experience.

- Should come from an IT background and have a good understanding of SDLC.

- Excellent reporting skills & presentation preparation skills for Senior Management.

- Strong MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Visio & MS Project skills with working knowledge of SharePoint.

- Strong collaborator with ability to partner effectively with diverse groups across geographies.

- Confident and organized with the personality to challenge status quo with strong reasoning & influencing skills

- Self-starter with initiative, ability to take ownership and work independently as well as within a team.

- Good Interpersonal skills & stakeholder management expertise.

- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

- Result-oriented with a sense of ownership.
