Below mentioned is the Brief
KRA's
Will need to manage all RFI/RFPs end-to-end that come in from the sales and account management teams. This will involve a wide spectrum of upfront research and sales support activities, bid qualification activities, solution ideation, articulation and solution defence jointly with the sales and delivery organization.
Will need to manage all critical processes relating to sizing and pricing of deals in conjunction with multiple teams, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of all financial and operational inputs to protect/assure deal margins.
Will need to coordinate with multiple internal teams in order to develop a fully integrated solution/proposal. Teams typically involved will include HR, Training, Quality/Transformation, Delivery teams, IT, BCP, Legal, Finance, Transition, etc.
- Proactive management of business opportunities
Will need to manage all proactive Proposition development initiatives, including new product/offering creation, development of corresponding collateral, etc.
Manage the entire process of internal communication and coordination with respect to such new propositions being developed.
Support, enable and facilitate target revenue achievement for new propositions.
- Thought leadership
Will need to work closely on the Strategy formulation for this vertical along with senior management and with the sales organisation.
Need to work closely with the larger group across various businesses (Apps, Infra, Engineering, R&D, etc.) to be able to develop joint offerings, propositions; and enable the Go-To-Market for such offerings.
Will need to demonstrate strong domain expertise in the following areas:
- ERU: Midstream & Downstream Utilities, Residential & Commercial segments, Water & Gas services, etc. Needs to have functional expertise across Billing, Customer services, Collections & Recoveries/Default, New business and customer onboarding, accounting, etc.
- Retail/CPG: Customer services, Digital services, warranty management, deductions management, customer and marketing analytics, etc.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Strategic sourcing, Direct & Indirect procurement operations, PR-to-PO functions, RfX management, Catalogue management, Contract management, Vendor performance management, Spend analytics, etc.
- Managing Marketing support
Will need to manage the process of development of market facing collateral and content (e.g. slide-ware, brochures, website, etc.)
Manage all such activities in relation to positioning the BPO brand and capability with Sourcing Advisors & Research Analysts (e.g. responding to periodic surveys, presenting to RAs and SAs, etc.)
- Team management
Manage a team of between 6 - 10 solutions resources, who will be specialised in each of the industry verticals mentioned above, and who will be responsible for working and delivering to various proactive and reactive business opportunities in these verticals.
Manage the development of these resources, especially in terms of improving their domain expertise, improving articulation skills, improving their client facing skills, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualifications Graduate; Post Graduate will be an added advantage
Minimum Experience 12 Years
- Minimum experience of 12 years, of which at least 8 years needs to be within the BPO industry; preferably with a third-party BPO provider or even a captive provider with a strong emphasis on ERU, retail/CPG & TTL BPO services.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing a Solutions/ Pre-sales/ Business development /Consulting function for the same or similar Industry verticals from a BPO/ITO perspective.
- Ideal organisations to tap would be the Tier-1 Outsourcing providers
- Ideal qualification would be a Post Graduated degree, but Graduate also will be fine in the case of candidates with very strong experience fit.
