About our Client - Our client is a global investment bank with a strong presence in growing markets. Prolonged success in such markets and a strong balance sheet has positioned them for continued expansion. They are looking for a seasoned regulatory reporting professional for their setup in Chennai, which is in line with their initiative at creating global roles out of the Indian market.

Job Description - Reporting to the Director-Regulatory Reporting, your major responsibilities would be :

- Capital adequacy reporting and monitoring for UK FSA regulated entity

- Liaise with the trading businesses and treasury with respect to management of RWA and usage of capital

- Prepare MIS reports such as legal entity profitability and capital forecasts, performing analytical reviews, investigate and resolve unusual fluctuations

- Daily monitoring of regulatory ratios against internal and regulatory limits and preparation/ review of daily risk weight assets reporting

- Ensure compliance with regard to regulatory framework of UK FSA or BoE reporting

- Performing hands-on RWA calculation/production

- Production of Basel III RWA for either of banking book, trading book Analysis, production and review of monthly and quarterly credit risk RWA/capital reporting under Basel norms

The Successful Candidate :

- As an ideal candidate, you are a CA/MBA with 9-12 years of post qualification experience. Prior associations in working in MNC banks or tier-I accounting firms is highly preferred.

- An understanding of the Basel/Regulatory framework along with a working knowledge of RWA production/calculation would be highly advantageous.

- Strong accounting & product knowledge with a general familiarity of IFRS would be advantageous.
