To drive this business area, ThinkLink is putting together a team of dynamic professionals to manage and support medium to large scale projects in this domain.  - VP Project Management will own full responsibility for Project Management, Design Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Site Supervision and Customer support. The role will manage the team of Project Engineers, Site Installation Engineers, Automation and Control Engineers, and external vendors and partners. This role has ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and others aspects of a project.  Key Responsibilities  He or she is part of the leadership team with following break up of responsibilities:  - Lead end to end project life cycle – award of project to handover   - Develop a detailed project plan – tasks, schedules, milestones & resources  - Prepare and control the cost & resource budget   - Monitor the project engineering schedules ,forecasts and deliverables and proactively communicate the progress, issues, solutions to all the stakeholders  - Engage & manage clients’ & key stakeholders expectations  - Conduct regular meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholders’ needs and expectations in view  - Facilitate the definition of project concept, scope, goals and deliverables  - Implement and manage project changes & interventions to achieve project deliverables  - Ensure clear ownership for project tasks, ensure the team members have the right tools and provide timely feedback  - Lead acquisition of external & internal resources at the optimal cost  - Coordinate procurement activities associated with the delivery of project to maintain a central point of contact; support commercial manager in defining specifications and development of suppliers of equipment & supplies.  - Develop right talent, provide direction, train adequately and support the project team; ensure that the team is motivated all the time   - Implement safe work practices and ensure safety of the internal & external resources at the project site   - Arrange training of client’s workforce on the new system, equipment and processes  - Support strategy development for the business unit and acquisition targets   - Apply value engineering skills to shave-off costs and waste-full activities  - Develop and manage client relationships supported by good quality advice and deliverables  - Identify, define and establish internal systems and processes that ensure client deliverables of the highest quality, address risks and improve team productivity and efficiency  Skills and Knowledge Requirements  Functional Skills:  - Experience of Project Management in Green Field Sites of Material Handling Systems / Factory Automation / Manufacturing and other projects with electrical/mechanical/control elements.  - Previous experience of 3-4 projects in engineering, installation, and procurement is required  - Previous experience as Project Manager in 1-2 projects is required  - Experience of Automated Material Handling Equipment such as AS/RS, Pallet and Case Conveyors, Sorters, AGV's, Monorails is desirable  - Automation systems and/or project engineering experience in technical products applications (conveyor systems, electrical control systems, robotics or automation applications, packaging systems, etc.) is mandatory  - Project management expertise in leading team, building cross functional alignment, both internal and external, to execute project on time and under budget  - Good integration skills for the management and control of a number of separate sub-systems within a project   - Results-driven Engineering professional with proven results in the execution of strategic initiatives, change management and continuous improvement across organizations  - Good understanding of dynamics of changing environments plans and execution  Education Requirements   - Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Systems) required  - Masters in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Systems preferred)  - Any relevant industry specific Certifications/Memberships (desirable)  Personal Characteristics  - High on Integrity  - Willingness to “do what it takes”  - High Level of interest in developing passionate and high performing teams  - Individual commitment to Excellence  - Passionate about creating value and impact for the client  - Impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach  - Excellent communication skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities  To apply please write to careers@Thinklink-scs.com with an updated CV, current location and current compensation details
