Practice and Service Line: M&A - Transaction Support
Qualification: CA or a combo of CA+MBA
- Post qualification experience of 5 to 7 years in Transaction Advisory/ Support
- To work effectively with Partner/Director on critical client issues along with his/her team. To oversee the execution and develop the M&A practice
- Team size and designation of the subordinates: Yes. 1-2 subordinates
Will this role manage client engagements,if yes, what kind and with what independence:
- Yes, at mid management levels to ensure smooth execution of transactions. He/she will be responsible for overall timelines and quality deliverable to the clients
- Valuation, due diligence, transaction support/ advisory assignments.
- Design and execute analyses on target companies and/or markets for the purpose of validating key assumptions and drivers.
- Preparation of valuation models, pitch books, Information Memorandum, due diligence reports, commercial deal structures
- Overall knowledge of M&A related legal, regulatory and tax environment
- Advising clients on entry strategy.
- Manage projects from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables that meeting firms quality standards.
- Helping clients with commercial negotiations.
- Developing the ability to identify newer opportunities within the existing clients.
- Work on business development activities, with the partner
- Presenting innovative marketing ideas.
- Understand the client and his needs.
- He/ She should be diligent regarding: Billing cycles and collections.
- Effectively manage the team
- Good technical thinking.
- Good communication skills: verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good flow and thought process.
- Good project management skills including coordination with multiple stake holders.
