Designation : Vice President (Knowledge management)

Job description :

- Knowledge management /sector research in the food and agriculture space with specific focus on farm inputs and services, agri infrastructure etc

- Sourcing of potential deals for PE funding based on industry contacts

- Part of the Deal team evaluating various deals for Private Equity funding

- Lead the Business diligence prior to investment

- Involved in day-to-day monitoring of the investee company post investment

- Support the Environment & Safety Team in management of the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) function

Skill sets :

- Excellent operational understanding of the farm input and agri warehousing space in terms of key drivers of profitability, competitive benchmarks

- Strong industry network with connections at mid to senior levels in farm input companies

- Strong written, oral communication and power point presentation skills

Educational background :

- Graduation /Post graduation in Agriculture /Agriculture technology with an 2 year full time MBA from IIM Ahmedabad (Agri Business management) /IRMA /MANAGE

Experience :

- Total work experience (post MBA) of 8-10 years in an operating role in leading farm input companies (pesticides, seeds, farm mechanization etc)

Location : It could be Delhi or Mumbai (prefer candidates who are flexible)
