About the client:  Client is one of South East Asia's largest TV media broadcaster and have other interests in content generation, aggregation and distribution. They are also into radio broadcasting, print and film production.  Role Objective :   - The Candidate's role is to assure the timely development and successful execution of the company's technology backbone during their current phase of growth.   - This requires envisioning the company's service offerings as a mobile/web-based business, developing back end processing server, coordinating its handshake with the front end client and planning for risk and growth.   Key Responsibility Areas  - Build and execute technology roadmap   - Provide technological guidance within an organization.  - Supervise information system and communications network.  - Develop and implement a customer service platform to serve the organization in every aspect.  - Design, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.  - Consult with administration, department managers, and manufacturing representatives to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.  - Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation.  - Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.  - Oversee Internet and computer operations.  - Manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.  - Ability to manage projects with multiple stake holders from conceptualization to execution.   - Strong business acumen, ability to translate business requirement to optimal technology solution.   - He/ She will be responsible for the Information Security of the Organization and the Product.   Candidate Background:  - Should have managed the IT function as head for at least 5 years  - Industry exposure in Media sector preferred   - Advanced education in Information Technology or related field
