VP - Credit Syndication/Distribution

Vice President - CREDIT SYNDICATION

This role is with a boutique Investment Banking firm offering financial advisory services based out of Mumbai. A key prerequisite for the candidate is to have proven Credit Distribution skills and excellent relationship with onshore Banks, Insurance Companies, NBFCs and Mutual Funds. Relationship with Offshore investors such as PE, VC, HF, FII will be an added advantage. Candidates with relevant experience and a stint with large Syndication houses are encouraged to apply.

KRAs

- Will be primarily responsible for distribution of Credit mandates of the firm across products such as loan, ECB, promoter financing, mezzanine capital, acquisition finance, pre-IPO finance, structured finance, both at Operating as well as Holding company level

- Should have excellent knowledge of the investor base having worked on many mandates with them

- Will be expected to generate “reverse enquiry” from investors as to their specific appetite based on which mandates could be taken for Origination

- Will be a key member of the Credit team actively involved in the overall Credit Strategy of the firm

Desired Skills and Experience

- Excellent investor relationship across hierarchy

- Good understanding of investor base and their requirement

- Fair knowledge of legal and financial structures

- Develop, monitor and maintain database of market deals

- Should be a team player

Core Competencies:

- Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in /Finance. Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in Credit distribution is a must

- A strong work ethic, self-motivation, initiative, and a desire to succeed

- Strong desktop research and data discovery skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
