We have some VP levels open for an Investment Bank in Bangalore and Pune locations.   Corporate Action: Asset Servicing: Bangalore  Custody Operations: Pune  Job Description:Corporate Action: Asset Servicing: Bangalore  - Responsible for the execution of the teams’ organisational development / transformation.   - Preparation of Management reports and Departmental initiatives, and interfacing with the different departments and the Onshore Team in London to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.  The VP would also be responsible for Business Continuity, Audits, Transformation, Operational Risk & Control and people related initiatives and represent DBOI Asset Services in various forums like Operational Review Board, Performance Review Board and other organizational initiatives. Performance of the Line against the pre-agreed Service Level Documents that exist between each processing function.  The candidate will be self motivated with a continuous focus on Global Strategy Development, be able to drive change keeping in mind the organisations key objectives of Control, Capacity, Cost, Client and Completeness.  The individual will be expected to leverage Change & IT initiatives, Engineering opportunities through LEAN, LEAP, Capacity etc, organisational/footprint opportunities, production support initiatives as well as develop a Productivity based Change the Bank Book of work.   - Take end to end ownership of US Asset Services team across all functions within the corporate action event lifecycle.   - Regularly engage with internal clients such as desks / traders / BAC / finance for performance and risk reviews, escalations, provisions, write-offs and any other queries. Will also work with external clients and custodians to drive partnerships to manage and clear breaks and improve STP.  - Investigate the root cause of queries and provide corrective measures, deliver training via presentations with the objective of reducing the number of future queries.   - Ensure all corrective measures fully mitigate any future risk, and are delivered on a timely basis.   - Liaison with upstream and downstream business and teams to streamline operations. Identify process improvements, analyse the impact that the changes bring, and provide training to the process line via various media types.   - Review and sign-off new product approvals. Understand, translate and apply GBS and Business strategies and objectives to own GBS Operations unit  2. Responsible for the timely, complete and correct processing of transactions (including performing all relevant controls)  3. Liaise with the other onshore/nearshore/farshore functions (as appropriate) to ensure effective and seamless delivery of processes  4. Ensure effective operational delivery across product and business lines – preferably against agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs  5. Validate, monitor & measure the efficiency and effectiveness of own end-to-end Operations processes. Consider, suggest and, as appropriate, implement strategies to ensure continuous process improvement. Partner with CTB, COO, business units to sponsor the delivery of larger scale change projects/programmes  6. Work within budgetary targets set by management, participate in and feed information into the budgetary process  7. Highlight and escalate operational, regulatory and other risks with the COO, CTB and Management & Strategy functions. Develop, suggest and implement risk mitigation or control solutions within own area of responsibility  8. Manage, develop and empower own resources to deliver excellence in Operations in a matrix organisation  9.
