MJRQ00001: Vice President (Sales)- Mplifire.com  Job Description :  Mplifire.com is India's fastest growing online seller service company. Mplifire.com is an authorized service provider to Amazon.in, Flipkart.com, etc. and helps SMEs to manage their channel expansion from offline to online, including registration, imaging, cataloguing, inventory management, post-sales support, etc.   Mplifire is looking for Vice President of Sales who will manage fleet of sales staff across different offices in India to convert sales opportunities, by organizing our resources to communicate all elements of a sales pursuit, make assignments, and manage the final outcome.   The VP of sales will work with the sales team in refining the pitch for services to the potential clients, organize demo of our services in coordination with different groups including technology and operations, set-up new clients- account, help establish relationship with account manager, and continue to build credibility and relations with new and existing clients. Our engagements include sellers (small and medium sized retailers) who are interested in listing their products on third party marketplaces.   The VP of sales will lead the team to identify and recruit retailers that deliver competitive pricing and broad product selection on the platform, train sellers on various marketplace systems helping them integrate with 3P platform, provide support to lift seller capabilities and analyze seller performance metrics to help them become successful online seller across multiple platform.   The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in managing sales organizations, ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision, problem solving skills and capability to influence multiple external and internal stakeholders.   The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with technology systems and be able to analyze data and gather actionable conclusions. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be comfortable dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations.  Responsibilities Include :  - Growing the business volume by aggressively identifying and closing services engagements across multiple verticals  - Hire, train and manage a team of sales and service representatives in designated area or city.   - Implement standard operating processes to scale the working of the organization.   - Help define the seller base and industry verticals we target for various marketplaces.  - Identify valuable sellers and selection for various marketplaces.   - Lead the team to acquire retailers with valuable selection and establish long-term partnerships.   - Interface with internal teams to identify seller integration needs and deploy resources to lift these seller capabilities to work on Mplifire systems.   - Analyze data to help sellers become successful on various platforms.  - Understand seller's needs, and identify influencers and decision makers within a seller organization by working with peers  - Developing executive level business relationships leading to outstanding results in selling value-add services  - Develop and maintain pipeline of new opportunities  - Develop personal knowledge of industry/market sector, sellers- business challenges and the impact of potential future changes  - Focus on identifying sellers- business challenges and developing strong value propositions to help sellers meet their business objectives  - Development and execution of sales by utilizing direct marketing strategies, sales process management and marketing support materials  Required Skills :  - Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and leadership roles in Information Technology industry.   - Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.  - Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business - by the numbers. Must be metrics-driven.   - Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.   - Experience working with SME retailers is an advantage.   - Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage   - Deep understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India with prior interactions with sellers and distributors is desirable.   - Experience selling start-up products/services into new markets is desired.   - Experience in defining new processes is desired.   - Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.   - Fluency in English and local language is important along with awareness of local retail landscape.  - Record of carrying and exceeding annual run rate quotas approximating INR 10 Cr or more and demonstrated year over year improvement.   - Someone who is a star in their approach to developing new accounts  - High level of comfort preparing and leading client presentations  - Comfort in preparing managed services proposals  - Significant degree of self-motivation, direction and integrity  - Experience working closely with senior-level management  - Experience with MS Office (Excel) is required.   - Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.  - Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.  - Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.  - Passion to work in a start-up environment with a motive to deliver best customer experience  - Bachelor Degree in Engineering Required  - MBA Preferred
