Market Development Manager(Senior Manager/Manager-Marketing Operations)

Role purpose :
- This position is responsible for all open market products in order to achieve the objective of incremental revenue and churn reduction. This is achieved by aligning to the circle budgeted numbers, focused drive of key pillars for business delivery and utilization of circle enablers.
- This position is responsible for Circle Voice & Data Revenue Planning, Customer portfolio management including churn reduction, unique user growth and leverage local market and customer insights to evolve suitable programs in conjunction with CVM 1.2 team as per micro-segmentation in prepaid, market insights and base churn, providing inputs in Circle Reviews (all ORMs / BRMs/ SM visits).
- He / She would ensure continuous feedback to corporate CVM teams about local market occurrences and competition updates. This position is responsible for leading the Prepaid Open Market, Postpaid, Market Insights and Trade Marketing Managers of their respective Circle in the Marketing Team.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
- Revenue : Accountable for Circle revenue and churn. Specifically responsible for open market products, competition & market insights across prepaid and Postpaid. Manage the circle leads for Prepaid Open Market, Postpaid, Market insights & Trade Marketing.
- Churn : Ownership of Churn reduction for the Circle.
- CVM Coordination : The Circle MDM will be the point of contact for the CVM Ops team for Market Inputs, updating circle MH & CVM Ops Leads on insights based on field inputs, competitive awareness and market place information, and identifying new revenue opportunities through open market products.
- Team & Self Development : Processes & People Align to the new way of working in Circle Marketing. Help direct reports adjust to change and align themselves to new process. On-board team onto the change & process. Participate in bringing the circle and corporate CVM operations team together to deliver the common business objectives of revenue enhancement and churn reduction.

- Churn % - Prepaid & Postpaid
- Open Market Product - Prepaid
Key performance indicators :
- Impact on Churn, Revenue, Usage and RPM
- NPS
- Circle GSR
- Data category development for 2G (Non-user to user) and 3G/4G
- Data usage and realizations and Data unique users growth through suitable engagement programs for shoppers and channels
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
- Understanding of Telecom market and products and services
- Understanding behaviour of consumers, and generate actionable customer insights
- Managing projects, leading cross functional teams across marketing, IT, technology and customer service functions
- Good understanding of campaign and CVM philosophy
- Should be customer obsessed and innovative with a high sense of intellectual curiosity. An eye for detail while keeping the big picture view
Must have technical / professional qualifications :
- MBA with 5-8 years work experience in product / revenue management. Should have led a team in the past.
