Minimum: Minimum 9 -12 years of experience from reputed B school.   Exposure in Procurement and SCM function is a must.  Role Objective:  - The position is responsible towards coordination of entire procurement and Logistics activities of the circle for one or more categories.  - Responsible for Vendor Selection and Negotiations as per company parameters, cost Monitoring, cost tracking and ensuring the best cost procurement for benefit of the company Introduce and develop alternate vendors to get competitive prices and reduce dependency on single/limited sources.   - Track and ensure proper Opex utilization and reasonable Capex monitoring.   - Ensure Sox and Audit guidelines with respect to verification of stock  - Ensuring all documentation and legal compliance with respect to procurement.   - Should have a reasonable knowledge on warehouse management & handling third party logistics activities.   - Overall to be a good team man who can handle a team size of 8- 10 people.  Key Functions & Responsibilities   Strategic  - To provide necessary inputs for circle budgeting activities.  - Material procurement and delivery planning as per monthly/ quarterly operational plan.  - Vendor allocation planning to achieve circle project target.  - Cost optimization planning for controllable opex items.  - Monthly inventory and warehouse management planning.  - EFFICIENT CO-ordination with all stake holders like corporate technical, treasury, circles and SSC.  Operational  - To approve all circle Purchase activities ( Opex and Capex).  - Finalization of rates for all locally procured items.  - Ensuring timely delivery of materials/services for business continuity.  - Monitoring of Import Consignments through proper tracking from dispatch, customs clearance till delivery at Warehouse.  - Ensure on time availability of revenue warehousing related materials through proper planning & taking account of seasonal fluctuation.  - To arrange for inbound and outbound logistics for electronic, utility and marketing items including SIM, RCV and Handsets-   - Proper reviews of site roll out with infra vendors and managed service agency.  - To receive and processing of invoices to ensure timely payment and to issue Road Permits & ST forms as per requirement.  - Adherence to laid down Internal Control requirement, Purchase Policy guidelines & documentation for deviation as per policy.  - Ensure incident reporting timely as per VF HS guidelines   - Periodic visit to warehouses & vendor premise to evaluate & understand the adherence pattern  - Handholding of circles on various operations issues & Co-ordination with Vendors  Development:  - Identification of training needs for direct and indirect reports to achieve objectives.  - Interact with vendor and various agencies to get updated on competitor data and best practices.  - To streamline existing process in line with the best practices in the industry
