Vice President - Retail Banking Operations  Our client, a well established, professionally managed, international bank having their presence in India for over 50 years, have retained our services to identify a Vice President - Retail Banking Operations.   - The position is based at Mumbai.  Job Purpose:  - To support liability businesses across various business segments through quality delivery in fulfilling account opening and life-cycle maintenance of accounts.  - To achieve the above objective with optimum productivity and most cost effective manner by seamlessly linking operations (both front end, backend at Branches) and business services.  Responsibilities:  Own end-to-end processing to meet the following objectives:  - No operations loss  - Exceptional service feedback from internal/external customers  - Satisfactory rating from internal/external auditors  - Optimum utilization of available resources  - Cost-effective processing  Liability & Direct Banking:  - Production and dispatch of timely deliverables of: Cheque Book, Cards, PINs, Statements, TDS certificates.  - Accurate/timely settlement of interchange claims  - Accurate/timely servicing of home banking  - Accurate/timely reconciliation of books of accounts  - Cross functional expertise in Consumer Banking Operations.  - Deep understanding of Consumer banking Operations processes for all products ranging from Banking, Payment Operations.  - Good understanding of Banking Products and processes.  - Comprehensive knowledge of payments and clearing systems  - Experience in Cash Disposal, Centralised clearing, policies, regulatory guidelines, Transactional & Operational support to branches, Operational Risk Management, Core Banking implementation.  - Ensuring comprehensive compliance with all internal, regulatory and statutory requirements across regions.  - Thorough understanding of policies in the area of Branch Operations and local statutory regulations.  - Candidates must be Graduates/Post Graduates with 15 years relevant experience.   - Certified Black Belt in DFSS (Designing For Six Sigma) or ISO / BS 7799 certified auditor.
