VP Production Support

Our Client is worlds largest Investment Bank looking for Global role in Production Support.

Role Purpose :

- Service owner for APAC responsible for a global support organization serving over 60 countries.

- Service Delivery supporting 3 Asset classes. (B&CF, EDD, KYC)

- Service quality to the Global HEAD of EDD and BCF Production support

- Managing 90% of the global footprint of support for the AC

- Instrumental in driving performance and improving production stability.

- Requirement to be primary face off to senior members of the business as well as CTB.

- Drive Best Practices among the global application teams as well as CTB (release / change management)

- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, SOX, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group's standards of ethical behavior

- Participate in the development of and effectively maintain the Incident management process

- Responsibility for managing a large proportion of the AOP budget

- Heavy involvement in the defining and implementing an agile development process (from a production perspective)

Essential Experience :

- Excellent communication skills (frequent interaction with senior managers)

- Excellent stakeholder management skills

- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills

- 10 years experience supporting applications running in MS Windows and Unix environments

- 7 years of management experience (preferably with a remote team)

- Agile Software development

- Investment Banking Experience

- Previous SQL experience; SYBASE, ORACLE or Microsoft SQLServer preferred

- Previous experience supporting financial applications

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, and Project) skills

- Working within an ITIL framework

- Ability to manage/balance competing agendas

- Ability to - translate- technical jargon to fit various audiences

Ideal Experience :

- Previous XML

- Previous Java experience

- Previous Job Scheduling experience (Control-M preferred)

- Ability to present ideas in various forums (town halls, lunch n- learns)

- SWIFT Message Knowledge

Ideal Qualification : ITIL V3 Certification
