Looking for an Experienced HR professional for an Established Life Insurance company in Mumbai.

Level : VP HR Generalist

Reporting : Head HR

A candidate with current experience in Financial Services would be preferred.

KRA'S :

CORPORATE HUMAN RESOURCES :

- Aligning the HR strategy as per the overall business strategy and Business Model.

- Developing career and succession planning.

- Initiate measures to improve the leadership skills of the managerial cadre thru the defined competency based leadership development framework.

- Develop organizational attributes and work culture focused on value system and teamwork.

- Research, recommend and implement progressive policies.

- Actively source and share external best practice and knowledge of HR & the business with HR colleagues and Business peers.

STRATEGIC TALENT DEVELOPMENT & LEARNING (PMS) :

- KRAs and Goal setting at various levels.

- Implementation of KRA and KPI based Performance Mgmt system

- Anchoring the annual appraisal process.

- Review of Performance systems and implementation.

- Appraisal data mapping, analysis and finalization of rewards.

- Leveraging Individual Performance to Improve Business Results & productivity.

- Post appraisal Counselling & Feedback, Conducting Talent analysis, formulating Talent plans & strategies

- Keeping in mind the larger objectives of the business.

- Devising Learning and Development Strategies in consonance with the Management Development needs and with an objective of building competent and a capable learning organization.

- Identification of training needs in consonance with the PMS

- Drawing out training calendar and conducting training programs in areas like Goal setting, KRAs & Productivity enhancement.

OD & CULTURE BUILDING :

- Improvising HR processes, systems and policies.

- Measurement of Employee Engagement and efficacy of the HR processes through structured Employee

Satisfaction Surveys (Great Place to Work Institute, in-house) and taking policy initiatives based on the employee feedback.

- Facilitating continuous re-structuring, re-defining roles, role clarity & role alignment.

- Facilitating yearly Vision and Mission exercise.

- Implementing Mentoring and Coaching Program for career progression.

COMPENSATION & STATUTORY COMPLIANCES :

- Review existing compensation structure and performance reward structure

- Prepare a compensation budget for management

- Develop a compensation structure and align appointment orders and increments to the structure.

- Review, analyze and manage employee expectations on compensation and benefits.

- Designed and implemented ESOP and Variable Pay schemes for the entire group

- Responsible for Group Gratuity, Bonus and Coordinating for Provident Fund & Superannuation Compliance. Managing statutory compliance's under Various Acts

HR OPERATIONS :

- Manage entire Employee Life Cycle from Recruitment to Separation.

- Handle Employee relations and operational issues/queries

- Supervise & Implement payroll with great efficiency

- Ensuring adherence to compliance calendar pertaining to IR and auditors to ensure timely conduct of internal, statutory IR audits.

- Extensive, in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in compliance of IR law and allied corporate laws.

- Ensuring the filing of statutory forms and returns and maintaining statutory registers and records.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT :

- Promote work-life balance.

- Proactive employee culture analysis and employee feedback

- Ensuring effective management of Annual/Quarterly/monthly employee engagement calendar in all regions

RESOURCING :

- Talent Planning & Acquisition -Planned Manpower strength and budget for the organization.

- Managed relations with recruitment agencies for critical and urgent nature of manpower requirements.

- Handled recruitment of Senior hires across functions for operations in India

- Database Management - Create and managed an efficient and pro-active system of database mgmt of potential candidates.

- Maintained a data bank of relevant profiles for urgent positions, so as to meet the adhoc needs.
