About Us:   We are a leading provider of high-end research, analytics and customized financial services   Some of the services offered, but not limited to, are valuation, financial modeling, research, and portfolio management  Founded in late 2006 by 2 ex-Merrill lynch bankers  Strength is 250 people and growing its client and revenue base at 50%   Strong global client base - Primarily Private Equity firms, Boutique Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporates, and Family offices  The company plans to expand into another location, within Western India, through a second delivery center within the next twelve months   Overview on the Vice President Role:   - A multi-faceted role requiring the individual to independently manage a financial services delivery team directly reporting to report to management  - VPs are responsible for their clients and their teams  - They monitor the client relationships and are expected to engage with clients at a strategic level especially with respect to retention and expansion  - AVPs report directly to the VPs and VPs are expected to train, mentor, and develop the AVPs  - An individual at this position will be part of the top 10% of the senior professionals  Responsibilities Assumed:   - Managing Client Relationships:  - Acquiring knowledge of clients operations and strategy  - Understanding the overall goals of the transaction and client relationships  - Managing and growing relationships with existing clients  Team Management and Leadership:   - Being responsible for the performance of a team consisting of AVPs, Associates, and Analyst  - Mentoring, training and developing the team  Prerequisites:   - Strategic thinking   - Strong grasp of financial concepts and an analytical ability   - Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)  - Strong eye for detail and ability to multi-task  Candidate Experience:  - An MBA in Finance with minimum of 8 years of work experience, or  - 8 to 10 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree in any field  Compensation:  Commensurate with industry standards  Job Location:  Mumbai / Pune
