Position Title, Responsibility Level - Vice President  Function - F&A BPO  Reports to - VP 2 Ops  Permanent/ Temporary - Permanent  Span of Control - 200+ including AVP, Sr Managers, Managers and extended teams  Location - Bangalore  Basic Function:  Ensure that given client operations are run efficiently to ensure higher profitability  - Maintain and increase FTEs as per the budget  - Generate additional revenue   - Focus on efficiencies - leaner, greener and faster   - Focus on Process stabilization & sustained delivery  - Reducing operation costs   - Make TBP more effective   - Evaluate spans of BAU and low complexity processes  - FTE headcount  - Revenue from the BU Vs. Target  - Gross Margin for the BU  MEI (Manpower Efficiency Index)  Ensure client satisfaction on all SLA's and given parameters  - Deliver on client benefits through innovation and improvements   - Create plan to deliver efficiency  - Strengthen operational team as well as support functions to minimize leakages  - Build and operate a dedicated automation team   - Help appropriate and sufficient seeding in PI   - PI Strategy to be created in consultation with the client BO's and Six Sigma teams where available  - Customer Satisfaction Survey results Vs. Desired  - Performance Index  Improvement through Innovation  People management  - Focus Groups with HR and Ops Sr. leadership on a regular basis  - Different engagement plan for each strata of employees  - Focus on employees training and development, esp. wrt to ESAT and employee morale  - HIPO engagement initiatives to be reviewed regularly  - Cross training and skill enhancement for BO in particular and for voice in general   - Support to Line HR and utilize their expertise more from a people engagement and retention perspective  - Evaluate specific tasks of each job to assure that key functions are performed effectively  Ensure minimal staff attrition and high levels of engagement  - Employee Attrition Rate  Employee Engagement Surveys  Provide assistance to industry and BU leadership for development of strategies for business development and process improvements  Working on Strategic Priorities such as (but not limited to):   - Look for opportunities to deliver additional savings for the clients   - Deliver operational efficiency improvements for both Client  - Assistance in business development as and when required  - Reduction in Overheads as % of Revenues  Participation in people development initiatives  - Process improvement  - USD value delivered to Client.  USD value delivered to the client  Essential Functions  This position is responsible for F&A Operations outsourced to the client by clients in US. Key responsibilities include:  - Lead and manage F&A operations outsourced to our client  - Ensure consistent service delivery in a consultative and solutions-based capacity  - Should have the ability to preempt potential issues and take proactive measures to address them  - Should have the ability to preempt and escalate any issues pertaining to clients in a non-confrontational manner.   - Strive for high levels of customer satisfaction. Take responsibility to meet and exceeding client SLAs  - Develop sound value based solutions and apply technical knowledge and strategic thinking in client delivery  - Provide guidance, supervision and review to F&A operational teams to ensure that job responsibilities are met and are in line with Client's and our client's goals and objectives  - Develop and manage strong independent relationships with clients at senior positions   - Oversee the continuous improvement of processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output  - Lead and coach the team to recruit and retain high caliber staff  - Provide coaching, guidance and support, set professional development plans to assist employees to reach their full potential through the Performance Management process  - Ensure optimal deployment of resources to achieve business goals  This job may involve some international travel for client meeting and due-diligence & migration of new processes.
