Please find the details below.  The role incumbent, as Head - Corporate Functions, Chennai is specifically responsible for:  Job Profile :  Change Management  - Promote a culture of constant monitoring and evaluation; questioning the status-quo and client focus/centricity across the perimeter. Contribute to innovation initiatives in the BL.  - Collate and analyze metrics. Utilize metrics to influence efficiencies and improvement efforts across Chennai location, driving an environment of continuous improvement in an efficient and cost effective manner. Monitor progress of continuous improvement initiatives and take appropriate corrective actions when required. Establish a strong process of Go & See and White Boarding in CFG, Chennai team.  - Contribute to CFG global strategic transformation programs. Help your team identify areas of contribution to CFG Roadmap  - Ideate, seek and collate feedback from employees of your team and CFG on GSC roadmap: Identify the opportunities for contribution to the transformation programs in the perimeter and convert them into actionable initiatives  People Management  - Ensure the appropriate break down of GSC and BL strategic objectives into operational objectives and ensure sound appropriation and integration across the team.  - In conjunction with HR and respective functional heads ensure execution of the talent acquisition program for the SGSS BL and especially in your team as per annual plan for the BL and the perimeter to facilitate the achievement of both short term goals and long term strategic objectives.  - In accordance with functional head, ensure team's performance capability and competency level for optimal performance. Contribute to the training strategy for the perimeter and ensure sound implementation. Mentor and coach direct reports and assist direct reports in managing their teams.  - Build a performance oriented culture within the location; ensuring the correct message on the significance of merit and contribution is sent across during Reward and Recognition exercises.  - Ensure organizational best practices in the Talent Management area viz. succession planning, mobility, competency building etc. are established and well running in the FVS team - thereby ensuring employee stability, business resilience and organizational preparedness for the future.  - Showcase the Talent in your perimeter across the BL as well across GSC to ensure appropriate positioning and contribute to Talent sourcing.  - Focus and ensure meeting the Diversity objectives / targets of GSC.  - Focus on methods to increase retention, increase levels of engagement within the perimeter. Focus on attrition analysis for the perimeter and in conjunction with the HRBP find solutions and improvements to keep attrition low or in line with organizational retention target. Drive a culture of floor walks and town-halls, "fun @ work" initiatives etc.  - Disseminate critical information, provide periodic up-dates and deliver various organizational communication to the teams in the perimeter as well as address any concerns or grievances.  As a BL / Perimeter ExCo Member.  - Represent the interests of your team within SG GSC and ensure the alignment of the off-shore team with the objectives of the perimeter and the BL globally.  - Enable the sound integration of the GSC CFG team well with corporate functions globally. Contribute to the operating model to ensure optimal value to the group. Model the essence of quality, digital transformation and client centricity.  - Translate the CFG Strategic Plan + the BL Road Map into operational objectives for the perimeter.  - Contribute strongly to the Market Intelligence initiatives of SGGSC. Network, where possible, and continuously scan the Indian market-place to contribute in the identification of start-ups that could bring value to the Bank. Establish a strong relationship with them.  - Sponsor one or more CFG initiatives to improve overall performance of CFG.  As GSC LST Member.  - Play a key role in building a work-culture aligned to the vision of RESG and SGGSC strategy. Model the essence of EDS and SG Leadership model visibly and consistently behaving in ways that reinforce culture, encouraging others to do the same and challenging employees and colleagues who do not.  - Lead / own one or more transversal or collective initiatives to improve overall performance of GSC and/or transform GSC  - As a member of RESG LST, contribute to, where possible at least one or more RESG initiatives, build strong relationships and reinforce links between GSC and other RESG entities.  - Participate in organized talent - showcasing- events of GSC. Act as a Mentor/ coach for EST where possible.  - Contribute to brand-building initiatives of SG-GSC locally.  The above description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continuous basis. It does not exclude other duties as assigned.  Delivery and Operational Objectives:  - Act as the CFG Point of Contact for other BLs on all transversal topics for CFG services  - Liaise with the CFG BL EXCO to ensure smooth service delivery of all CFG offerings to the location  - Ensure proper follow-up of the business initiatives and support the BL EXCO in driving business agenda in the location.
