We are looking for a Senior Manager - Analytics (VP Level) with sound track record with in financial services domain to join our global client based in Bengaluru. This role will involve in managing their Analytics group in India and the aim of this role is to provide insights to the senior stake holders and drive real value by utlizing advanced statistical techniques to create high-performing predictive models and creative analyses to address business objectives and client needs. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and be able to communicate with key functions across the business.   Key Responsibilities :   - Responsible for supporting the Analytics function within the Centre of Excellence  - Independently leads data analysis and modeling projects from project/sample design, business review meetings with internal and external clients deriving requirements/deliverables, reception and processing of data, performing analyses and modeling to final reports/presentations, communication of results and sales support.   - Follows industry trends in insurance and related data/analytics businesses. Contributes ideas and actively participates in the investigation and research of new processes, resources and technologies that can potentially be implemented to provide improved customer solutions or to broaden client's analytic consulting and related services capabilities.   - Pro-actively and effectively communicates in various verbal and written formats with internal stakeholders on product design, data specification, model implementations, with partners on collaboration ideas and specifics, with clients and account teams on project/test results, opportunities, questions. Resolves problems and removes obstacles to timely and high-quality project completion.   - Accountable for ensuring that relevant capabilities are leveraged to deliver the Customer Proposition by actively contributing ideas, preparing presentation/sales material for customers, and product design/business case materials.   - Responsible for the managing the staff, hiring, training and monitoring of common KPIs across this group and offer trigger engines.   Desired Skills & Experience:   - Bachelors / Masters / PhD degree in Statistics / Finance / Economics / Operations Research / Computers with solid SAS (Advanced), R & SPSS programming experience.   - 8-10 years of experience with statistical modeling and knowledge on Web / Digital Analytics is highly desirable.  - Strong experience in statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, GLM, tree models, cluster analysis, principal components, and feature creation, validation.   - Executive presence on high-level meetings. Credible functional expertise in financial services and predictive analytics.   - Any overseas experience in highly desirable. Added advantage to returning residents who want to work in India.  - Excellent communication skills - verbal and oral with exceptional presentation skills.
