We are looking for Sr. Executive / Asst.Manager - Sourcing (Knits) for Lee & Wrangler Brand based at Bangalore location.   Job Responsibility :  Product Development :   - Collaborate with product and design seasonally to ensure we have the right vendor mix to support product design and innovation.  - Review with the sourcing head - Sourcing/Production for the seasonal category strategies.   - Manage sampling time and action calendar to meet key milestones.   - Monitor on-time delivery of development samples.  - Collaborate with Design and Fabric R&D to troubleshoot seasonal style issues.  - Communicate to purchasing and vendors raw materials to be ordered for seasonal development.   - Drive cost negotiations and cost savings against the budgeted costs. Drive seasonal mill weeks by co-coordinating with design/vendor base. Ensure sampling capacity is blocked in advance prior to seasonal sampling.  - Plan vendor wise greige fabric order placement prior to yardage placement to ensure on time fabric inflow.  - Block dates with brand/design for fabric yardage & docket placement on timely basis followed by apt recaps.  - Manage the seasonal color approvals well ahead of time and drive team/vendors.  - Periodical reporting on sampling updates to brand.  - Ensure docket costs provided 2-3 weeks from docket placement.  - Ensure right wash costs are given.  - Work on consumption for all the relevant blocks, styles.  - Work on CM for the relevant blocks, styles.  - Work on code wise open costing for all the seasonal samples prior to a month's times of road show.  - Ensure to meet all the vendors post sampling score cards are shared for corrective action plan.   - Make sure all the SMS are in warded at DC to ensure regional road shows timelines.   - Active participation in the risk analysis meeting.  Execution :   - Work closely with the sourcing head - sourcing, identify strategic vendor base to develop and produce product that meet the brand quality standards.  - Provide input to sourcing head to help shape and inform 5 year sourcing plan.[Capacity planning]  - Give feedback of vendor performance by season for each category and provide summary to the sourcing head. Make sure production tech packs are clearly handed over from the souring team to the production team  - Communicate to merchandising and planning about raw material and production minimums for adopted styles.  - Confirm order/qty placement and T&A for adopted styles with vendors.  - Drive cost negotiations and cost savings against the budgeted costs.  - Drive capacity planning prior to order placements from respective vendors  - Drive vendors to sign off the required seasonal delivery dates with penalty clauses. [During orders placement].  - Drive SHO scheduling prior to prod kick starts.  - Periodical visits to vendors to ensure seamless delivery inwards as per stipulated timeline.  - Co-ordination with QA manager & discuss seasonal qtys/codes to seek desired support.[beginning of the seasonal order placement]  - Vendor visits to ensure the relevant capacities are good enough for the seasonal inwards.  - Have TNA review with team and vendors periodically.  - Over look on the approvals and ensure the bottle neck issues are resolved.  - Drive timely inspections by pushing vendor base to share the relevant status/QA requests in desired formats. Set SOPs.  - Manage Purchase order and LC requirements on timely manner.  - Communicate monthly /seasonal score card with vendors. Followed by inviting vendors at the end of the season for the discussion session with cross functional teams.  Other areas :   - Work on product benchmarking .[Competition VS VF]  - Drive process and work on innovative methods to bring out more efficiency in day today's activities.  - Constantly look out for new vendors to bring meaningful cost savings and smooth serviceability.  - State clear objectives and strategies to superiors, subordinates, customers and suppliers.  Anupama
