We have an opportunity with one of our client in Pune location for the position of US Taxation  Tasks and Responsibilities:  Strategic Objectives/Business Responsibilities:  - The International Assignment Operations team (IAM Ops) in Pune will be instrumental in making the Global IAM function more efficient and cost effective by taking on IAM processes already centralized in the existing IAM Ops team in Singapore.  - By moving work from the IAM Ops team in Singapore to Pune will enable the team in Singapore to further centralize activity further up the process value chain and enable a smaller on-site resources to focus on delivering services to assignees, HRBP's and the business.  - The work is non-SOP- able and the IAM Ops team in Singapore will be acting as the final reviewer for new processes the Pune team takes up to ensure quality output. For straight-through processes, the expectation is that the IAM Ops team in Pune will be able to produce accurate output with minimal review from the Singapore team.  Tasks:  - Creation of assignee's personnel and compensation records and data entries in the assignment management system (R@YS) and Global Data Collect (GDC).  - Preparation of STA/DAT/IAR/IAB/ILT cost projections for the global assignee population (with the exception of assignees to Russia, Monaco, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and Greece).  - Preparation of tax gross-up calculations for international assignees.  - Initiating and collating IAM Survey results from assignees and consolidating the feedback collated in meaningful reports to the Global IAM team.  - Preparation of assignment related documentation such as memos, RAITs, and assignee related letters, and reports for the Global IAM team.  - Initiating and collating the STA travel calendars from the assignees to assist the Global IAM team to calculate monthly per diem for the assignees.  - Reconciling costs recharged in the Swiss recharge process, and responding to inquiries on costs recharged. Should there be tracking of costs recharged and payments, the IAM Ops team in Pune will assist in this function.  - Assists in the administrative tasks associated with the Global PwC and Cartus billing processes which includes reviewing and verifying invoiced costs and cost centers.  - Coordinate information from assignees, PwC, payroll and IAM managers and to prepare the Certificate of Coverage (CoC - a social security document) for assignees.  - Tracking global tax equalization settlement amounts and preparing all paperwork and sending notifications associated with settling the tax equalization amounts.  - Preparing international assignment related reports in support of management, IAM and HR's initiatives.  Professional Qualifications /Personal Competencies:  - 0-2 years of work experience  - Degree level education  - Strong Expatriate Tax or International Assignment Management background  - Meticulous and detail oriented with high accuracy  - Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills  - Proficiency in Sharepoint, MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)  - Aptitude for learning  - Ability to prioritize and multitask  - Openness to working in a high volume, high stress environment   Education:   - MBA preferred   - CA  In case you wish to explore the opportunity call me on : 020 65101885
