Freshers are most welcome, people with FMCG background are preferable.  Please go through the JD and apply for the job.   - Researching advanced Indian VAT, Entry Tax/Octroi, Service Tax, Central Excise, Foreign Trade Policy and other indirect tax issues - working with tax authorities and outside advisers as necessary   - Travelling to various warehouses in India for training of the operations team on statutory requirement for movement of goods, audit of documentation maintained, streamlining the collections process   - Assisting in computation and timely payment of VAT/CST, Entry Tax/Octroi, Excise and Service Taxes and filing of returns, assistance in SAD refund  - Continues monitoring of applicability of various state specific transit forms and ensure compliance with the state specific regulatory requirement  - Assisting in obtaining various statutory registrations viz. VAT/CST, Entry Tax, Service Tax, PT, IEC etc.   - Assisting with managing relationships with outside tax consultants and regulatory authorities on an ongoing basis  - Managing and coordinating VAT, Service Tax audits, including audit preparation, responding to document requests, Litigation support etc.  - Providing support to the accounting team responsible for tax accounting and reconciliations
