Primary Responsibilities:



- Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data-

- Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning-

- Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis

- Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate

Primary responsibilities:

1.Participate in requirements gathering, service-oriented modeling, analysis and design activities

2.Work in the analysis phase of the system development cycle and consult with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems, and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.

3.Develop detailed design specifications, data mapping and data transformation rules.

4.Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices in service oriented analysis, design and development

5.Review design documentation with QA and Development teams, being a resource for questions that arise during development and testing

6.Communicate with internal and external business partners. Should be able to handle Onshore/Offshore model.

7.Act as the liaison between Business and Developers and project management groups

8.Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution. Present design solutions to the business

9.Develop strategies to improve SDLC and governance processes

10.Develops pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends.

11.Ensuring timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per SLA.

12.Participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision

13.Develops innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation.

14.Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.

15.Provide functional leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required.

16.Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor. Participation in monthly PMR.

17.Participation in various application process initiatives like QMS, CMMI, PMR, SMR, Monthly Meeting etc.

18.Provide PoV documents & encourage the team to do so.

19.Build, maintain and strengthen relationship with stakeholders

Desired Skills:

20.Good exposure and experience in Healthcare domain. Knowledge of Payer, Provider and Healthcare data products/solutions.

21.Educational Qualifications: B.Tech / MCA/ MTECH /MS Graduation (MBA preferred)

22.Extensive experience of Business Analysis, System Analysis, Data analysis and writing system requirements is mandatory

23.Good exposure of Agile Methodology

24.Ability to identify system changes and verify that technical system specifications meet the business requirements.

25.Knowledge/Experience on working all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle

26.Deep Knowledge/Experience on X12

27.Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

28.Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio, UI design tools

29.Proficiency in Defect Tracking Tool.

30.Strong facilitation skills to gain customer requirements

31.Strong problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills

32.Good communication and presentation skills

33.Good at multitasking and organizational skills

34.Good attitude and self-motivated.

Qualification - Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration,related field or equivalent work experience

- 3+ year of experience in business/finance analysis- Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting

Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required

- Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

- Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally

Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures Technology Careers with Optum.
