Diageo India - Working Capital Lead - Cash Delivery

Position: Working Capital Lead

-The purpose of the role is to anchor and drive the Cash delivery for the USL Group (effectively working across the Group via the HO leadership team / ExCom and the Regional LT).

- Critical and insightful analysis together with robust governance processes / interventions will be key in driving the Working Capital agenda. Cash delivery is now 40% of the Annual Incentive Plan and is a critical performance metric for both Diageo Group and also the USL Board / investors

Scope:

-Responsible for managing the WC project with exposure of circa. - 250 Mn

-Coordination with Regional Teams across geography to manage WC

- Month Reporting to Diageo Global on key WC matrix

-Specialized in Receivable/Inventory benchmarking on PAN India basis

- Monitor key matrix to bring continuous improvement across function

-Indirectly work with wider finance community across USL, and with Key Partner functions (Commercial/Supply Chain)

Knowledge and Skills:

-Strong knowledge about the key matrix of working capital including the best practice followed across industries

- Quality of leading the projects independently

- Working knowledge of SAP

- Possess a flair for numbers, an ability to think big-picture and long

- Good knowledge of state level regulatory alike State Excise/ VAT/Service Tax etc.

- Ability to communicate with and explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders

- Possess excellent presentation skills

- Exposure to complex business environments

- Conceptually cleared on the IFRS/Ind AS reporting with respect to specific area of cash
