JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PLANT ENGINEER / PROCESS - HEAD:

Key Exposure-EHS/Food Safety/ISo

- Ensure the smooth function of the plant in order to achieve the budgeted production for the year;

- Monitor required processes parameters and ensure that parameters like yield, fuel factor etc. are within budget. Additionally, monitor the per PL conversion cost of Malt Spirit;

- Ensure that the water consumption & electricity factor are within the budgeted targets for per PL Malt Spirit production;

- Maintain zero discharge norms, as stipulated in the consent conditions & ensure optimum ETP operations;

- Ensuring plant maintenance to ensure minimum break down and maintaining expenses within the approved budget;

- Conceptualize & finalise CapEx proposal pertaining to productivity improvement, cost optimization, energy conservation, reduction in water consumption etc.;

- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensure proper documentation at the time of work progress, coordinate with Finance & HO for timely release of payments;

- Ensure timely updation of all records pertaining to Excise & PCB requirements;

- Responsible for preparation and timely submission of all statutory returns like Environmental statement, progress against MoEF conditions, water cess etc.

- Coordinate with Government bodies like PCB, Electricity Board, RIICO etc. & follow up for obtaining requisite approvals & ensure timely submission of replies against queries raised;

INTERACTION TO BE DONE:

- INTERNAL: Unit Head, HO - Technical team, HO - PGC team, All HODs & lead the process team;

- EXTERNAL: SPCB, CPCB, MoEF, SEB, RIICO etc.
