Unilever - Program Manager - Salesforce Core Technology

Role Summary/Purpose :

The Program Manager will be directly responsible for the successful operations of Salesforce Core Technology. The successful Program Manager leverages deep Saleforce platform and technology knowledge to drive a successful program.

Essential Responsibilities :

- Develop deep and lasting relationships that enable you to become a Trusted Advisor to the business platform leads

- Drive planning, tracking and governance around goals and objectives of Salesforce Core Technology team. Publish management and executive dashboard to various IT and Business executives.

- Plan and drive regular reviews of technology framework (processes, procedures, standards, guidelines etc) in alignment with industry best practices. Engage Unilever CTO, Salesforce Architects and IT Vendor Partners in the review process.

- Own communication and training strategy on technology framework updates to business platform teams and IT Vendor partners. Track the adoption of technology framework across business platforms.

- Own and drive governance around technology best practices, standards and metrics by engaging Business Platform teams and IT Vendor Partners. Publish identified gaps and drive remediation plans with respective platform teams.

- Publish weekly and monthly dashboard and status reports across all projects operating on Salesforce platform.

- Build and Own IT Vendor Partner Strategy on Salesforce platform. Collaborate with Business Platforms to drive vendor strategy and vendor performance.

- Build and Drive Business Platform Collaboration Ecosystem enabling various teams to share knowledge, lessons learnt and best practices.

Qualifications/Requirements :

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Management.

- Minimum of 9 years in consulting and project management experience preferably on Salesforce Implementation Projects

- Good Techno-functional knowledge of Salesforce

- Strong Management skills with executive presence and ability to interact with Senior Management

- Ability to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities

- Exercise solid leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills.

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment

- Experience using multiple project management approaches/disciplines,especially project planning, risk management and capacity planning.

- Experience in leading projects using SDLC methodologies like Waterfall and Agile or Scrum.

- Excellent team player who is able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
