Information is a top priority for Unilever because it is at the heart of our success - enabling us to manage performance, operate effectively and create a competitive advantage in the market through new insights.  Information & Analytics (I&A) capabilities aim to simplify, standardise, optimise delivery of and leverage management information with the objective of driving efficiency and help win in the market place through great real time performance reporting and brilliant analytics.  To meet this need Unilever has created a dedicated I&A organisation, within Enterprise Technology Support (ETS), to provide the business with the deep strategic and specialist Information skills required. This remit of the team spans all Functions, Markets, Categories and Global teams.   This role is part of the ETS I&A - Global Markets Engagement Team. This team supports the retail go-to-market organisation covering countries/MCOs across 5 clusters in Africa, Asia and NAMET & RUB.  As the I&A Engagement and BI Manager in South Asia, the role has two faces:   - Support the Senior I&A Engagement Manager, working directly with your clients to shape the detail of their Information Strategy and helping them landing the I&A agenda in the business unit, while promoting best practices across clusters.   - Deliver the I&A business requirements for the Fusion BW template.  Specifically the role will, with the support of the Senior Engagement manager:  1. Partner with the Country/MCO/Cluster leadership teams on Information Management.  Own, jointly with the clients, I&A capability building as well as business value realization targets from all I&A (local or global) initiatives.  2. Act as the account manager for all ETS I&A services to the client. Manage overall performance for those services delivered, ensuring any escalated issues are quickly resolved and the business impact minimised.  3. Play a lead and single point of contact for stakeholders with respect to BW engagement and Delivery management for Fusion. The role is responsible to drive all global projects landing on Fusion BW as per approved IPIX process and also support go-to market initiatives driven by business.  Be accountable and responsible for successful landing (implementation & post go live value realisation) of Information Simplification program. This covers MBI (My Business Information), BIT (Business Information Team - cross functional information team) and Report Simplification in the operating units in the cluster. Support the landing of other IM building blocks of I&A Operations Bangalore, EIP capabilities, Analytics & One View.   This role will play a key role in defining and anchoring the new ways of working with the Countries and MCOs. This requires problem solving both on an individual issue basis but also to identify trends and respond with more structural solutions.  Information Management, and this role, supports all functions. This does present its own challenge of driving cross functional alignment. Where these require intervention from others, this role will ensure appropriate escalation and drive closure of the issues  Manage the BI support of the Fusion BW template  - Drive and land all Innovations initiatives - includes approved IPIX IM global projects on Fusion BW, delivery of Change requests, approved projects across functional areas  - Single point of accountability on project management and the effectiveness - includes plan, budgets, approvals, resource / vendor management and delivery effectiveness   - Own Master data framework on PIM/ WPC for Finished Goods and Customer code creation.   - Working alongside Geography IT team and ERP Innovation teams to ensure project coverage of solution from technical, functional, release management and Support teams  - Sustain and manage MDM and Fusion BW with respect to Landscape Upgrades, Data Volume Management. Performance management and OTIF delivery   In support of the Senior Engagement Manager:  - Work directly with the IM sponsors & champions in the Countries/MCO/Cluster to understand their business priorities and where information can make a difference. Provide expert guidance on proposed interventions in order to define the detail of their information strategy (within the context of the overall Unilever IM Strategy).  - Develop and agree the I&A Roadmap & Value Realisation targets for the operating unit at the beginning of the year (input to 3+1 target setting). Keep the same updated on regular basis.   - Work with the Business Information teams to assess progress against agreed roadmap & targets, discuss new business needs and conduct service performance reviews (bringing IM Ops to meetings where applicable)  Driving implementation of Information Simplification in the geography. The role will be accountable for:  - Engaging with MCO/Cluster Business Information team as the face of - Information Simplification- program   - Assist with program managing the implementation phase   - Drive value realisation post the program go-live in the countries i.e. tracking of promised benefits and where they are below target to initiate corrective action.   - Pro-actively identify emerging information needs, bringing new suggestions to the table to help the client drive value from information and supporting them in using information and create real value.
