Role Summary/Purpose :  Salesforce's DevOps Manager is part of Salesforce Technology Team at Unilever which is a collaborative, fast-moving group thriving in a diverse culture of rapid delivery and innovation. DevOps manager would ensure a constant flow of change across all business platforms. DevOps Managers are motivated, adventurous, bold, and invested in disrupting internal process while preserving business platform trust.  Essential Responsibilities :  - Identify opportunities in improving and implementing DevOps methodology on Salesforce platform to be leverage by various business platform teams  - Lead and implement continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous delivery for multiple simultaneous projects on various business platforms  - Own end-to-end release management for all the projects on Salesforce platform. Lead and manage the deployment and validation of all projects across various release environments.  - Experience on various tools to build DevOps ecosystem and enable automation of build and deployment activities on these tools.  - Source code and control management, branching, merging, labeling, and code consumption topology and integration with Continuous Integration /Continuous Deployment process  - Manage the various environments associated with Salesforce platform including allocation / deallocation of resources to various project teams.  - Manage the Salesforce licenses / subscriptions portfolio across the organization and work with business platforms and business organizations for allocation / deallocation.   - Lead the Salesforce platform upgrades and environment refresh in collaboration with Salesforce organization. Collaborate with various business platforms on impact assessment and remediation due to platform upgrades.  - Collaborate with business platform teams, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of Salesforce applications, and ensure cross collaboration with other projects / applications.  Qualifications/Requirements :  - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering   - Minimum of 9 years of technical experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide cross functional and cross geography applications  - Minimum 6 years of experience with DevOps related tools such as Stash, Jenkins, Sonar,Salesforce Metadata and Tooling API  - Experience with agile (scrum) and test driven development, continuous integration & deployment (Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo/Maven) and version control (SVN, GIT, etc.)  Desired Characteristics :  - Excellent written and verbal communication  - Change oriented - actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways  - Energetic, technical innovator who will bring their expertise along with a keen drive to learn the new technologies that drive today's platforms  - Ability to hit tight deadlines and work under pressure  - Strong sense of ownership, Strong team player, urgency and drive; requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
