About the role: Presently Udaan is live across three categories - Food/FMCG, Clothing and Electronics, Pharma. We are looking at not only deepening our presence in them but also add other categories. In the business development role, one is expected to solution to simplify trade for businesses and make Udaan the default platform for B2B trade in India. Roles and responsibility : - Responsible for organic growth in GMV, buyer conversion &amp; buyer retention using digital tools. - Work with regional teams and partners to understand the market, and drive marketing campaigns (both online/offline). - Planning, execution and in depth analysis of merchandising activities to drive buyer engagement on the app - Work with respective tech team to implement processes/features around improving buying and selling experience. - Work with catalog team to maintain catalog health in terms of listing sanitization, selection showcase, mapping, attributes etc - Coordinating with external partners for conducting surveys, market research and other business requirements. Requirements : - MBA/Graduation from T1 colleges - 2-4 years e-commerce/Retail experience (online merchandising, web/app data analysis experience strongly preferred) - Very deep business acumen and a strong problem solver. - Highly driven and resourceful candidate (fast-paced startup experience preferred) - Excellent data analysis, data interpretation and first principle problem-solving approach - Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset BOTTOMLINE You have to be ready to hustle!
