Swaps and Futures is the backbone of Trafigura’s trading structure and as such we are responsible to ensure that all paper positions are reconciled accurately. We see the lifecycle of each paper trade from start to finish and are the key point of contact for all front and middle office derivative queries. Communication within this department is not limited to internal stakeholders but with external counterparties as well to ensure that the business commercial requirements are met.  The nature of Trafigura’s business is constantly changing with new assets classes being constantly added, all team members are trained to be adaptive to meet this challenge. Whilst tasks might be process-orientated, team members are encouraged to think critically to improve the current workflow. Opportunities in this team exist for cross-training and multiple members of this department in the past have gone on to take on more challenging roles within the organization  Main Purpose  - To reconcile and maintain external Swap positions to brokers and counterparties  - To reconcile and maintain external Futures positions at the Clearing Brokers against the internal systems  - To produce the OTC exposure daily and process all Margin Calls with Trafigura’s counterparties  Experience, Knowledge and Skills  - Meticulous attention to detail  - Flexible attitude and self motivated  - Team player with good communication skills – verbal and written  - Fast learner and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment  - Degree educated or equivalent in numerate discipline 2:1 or above  - Excel to Intermediate level  Key Responsibilities 	  Futures Administrator  - Ensure all trades processed through clearing banks are correct & reconcile to traders records.  - Work with internal departments, external counterparties and exchanges to resolve discrepancies on trades  - Maintain all clearing accounts in Pluto (internal system) on a daily basis, by processing contract expiries, trade transfers between accounts etc.   - Inform the Treasury dept. of the daily movement of cash received or paid to the clearing houses.   - Follow up queries with Deals desk team, clearing banks and counterparties to ensure that all Futures and Swaps are correctly captured and allocated.  OTC Collateral Administrator  - Check and commit daily marks in Forward Curve system  - Produce daily OTC exposure report  - Send daily Margin Calls to Counterparties / agree and process Margin Calls received  - Investigate and identify exposure differences with Counterparties  - Agree and process LC adjustments with Counterparties  - Prepare and send weekly exposure summary reports to Credit  NF Settlements Administrator  - Run exposure reports and process settlement with brokers  - Management of broker positions to ensure overall positions comply with company agreed exposure limits  - Process margin payment and receipts with brokers  - Prepare and send cash flow forecast for Metal positions  Key Relationships	  - Internal: Traders, Deals Desk, Treasury, Oil Accounting, Credit, IT  - External: Clearing Brokers, Exchanges  - External: OTC Counterparties  Equal Opportunity Employer  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce.
