Trade Surveillance Analyst  We have been retained by a foreign bank to identify a Trade Surveillance Analyst to be based at Mumbai.  Job Purpose:  - To be responsible for the daily alert analysis & investigation with respect to Trade Surveillance and Market Monitoring.  Responsibilities:  - Daily analysis & investigation of alerts across Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives covering market abuse and insider dealing behaviours.   - Documenting and reporting to senior management findings of alert investigations, including identification of appropriate escalation procedures.   - Developing and maintaining a proactive relationship with front office, control room, market risk and product specialists.   - Ensuring that monitoring procedures and parameters are updated to facilitate change in business and market conditions.  - One point contact to provide basic subject matter expertise in market abuse.  - Voice tape reviews.  - Involvement in desk reviews  - To proactively participate in various information streams to gather appropriate knowledge on industry developments and regulatory developments.  - To ensure the dissemination of appropriate training and information.   - To ensure appropriate reporting of material issues to trade surveillance manager.  Desired Skills:  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills  - Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiating skills  - Sound analytical and problem solving skills  - Strong planning and organizing skills  - Attentive to details and methodical  - Independent mind.  Candidate Profile:  - Candidates should be Chartered Accountants or MBAs from good business schools with about 5 years experience in a bank, in all aspects of market abuse and insider dealing.  - They should have experience in the maintenance of a global, multi-product Trade Surveillance Unit.  - Core knowledge of financial products, including typical sales and trading flow, offered by the bank.  - Core knowledge & experience in risk identification and risk assessment.  - Ability to carry out data mining and trend analysis.  Interested candidates meeting with the above requirements may please respond with a recent photograph and resume in word format
