Our clients include funds like Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Accel Partners, NEA; tech giants like SAP; educational institutes like Stanford, IIMA; and corporate giants like Nestle, Standard Chartered and Samsung.   Position:  Operations :  - Overall controller functions  - Oversee budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, so as to monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally.  - Ensure that finance staff maintains financial record systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting --  - Principles, and monitor the use of all funds and treasury operations  - Preparation of all financial reporting materials and metrics for internal reporting, MIS for Board of Directors and Auditors  - Coordinate all audit activities  Strategy :  - Partner with the HODs on all related operational and strategic issues as they arise; provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost benefit analysis, statutory and legal basis  - Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team, including the fund raising strategy.  - Spearhead the fundraising activities and manage investor relations  - Long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with Tracxn's strategic plan.  - Engage the operations and control team to align financial management with short- and long-term financial planning and projections.   Statutory, Legal and Compliance :  - Ensure the company is fully discharging its duties towards all applicable compliances, build a quick view and develop deep understanding of the regulatory landscape to ensure full compliance  Requirement:  - MBA Finance from a top-tier college and/or a Chartered Accountant with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience  - Direct experience of financial controller function and strong FP&A exposure and managed responsibility of meeting all compliances  - Have managed at least 5 direct reports  - Experience of working with Big4 Auditors  - A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality.   - A team player and hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, merit oriented environment  - Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.  - Willingness to relocate to Bangalore  What we have to offer:   - No bureaucracy, Meritocracy-driven, candid culture   - Very high visibility regarding which startups and markets are exciting globally   Founders:  - Neha Singh (ex-Sequoia, BCG | MBA - Stanford GSB)  - Abhishek Goyal (ex-Accel Partners, Amazon | BTech - IIT Kanpur)
