This position would be involved in managing overall operational deliverables under managing a buying category to support UK buying teams, lead PO creation and buying administration teams for various categories. The position primary requires functional knowledge in addition to handling team size of about 15+ team members.  Must have -  - Sourcing, vendor management and P2P functional knowledge.  - Transition knowledge of sourcing and buying activities.  - Continuous Process Improvement.  Key responsibilities -  - Support Tesco UK category buying teams using appropriate tools and templates (RFI, RFP, RFQ etc) and managing supplier development & sourcing.  - Prepare & solicit proposals, quotations and competitive bids with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions.  - Evaluate capabilities and capacities of current or proposed suppliers and conduct supplier evaluation to determine suitability.  - Use spend-analytics to understand spend portfolio (spend by BU, category, etc.).  - Negotiate supplier terms & conditions such that key business requirements (cost, price, specification, quality, logistic, legal, reliability) are fulfilled.  - Manage ad-hoc buying requests of customer requirement.  - Achieve cost savings targets as set and agreed.  - Establish and maintain business relations with relevant UK internal stakeholders, proactively engage with internal customers to understand their plans and future needs as well as manage proactive reporting.  - Maintain agreed service level metrics, analysis and benchmarking.  Skills: -   Should have experience into multiple stakeholder management.   - Should be doing independent process related operations review meetings / concalls with the Stakeholders.   - Possesses excellent English communication skill, Interpersonal skill.  Salary Range: 10 - 15 LPA
