Lead and develop teams of high performing analytic individuals by providing direction that is aligned with organizational initiatives, prioritizing and delivering to strategic objectives, and empowering and engaging the team to continuously improve and innovate. This individual will be responsible for staying current on analytical trends and assessing viability of analytical options for the organization.   - Accountable for working closely with different Business Unit peers to provide deep analytic knowledge and expertise to support business requests across the business. Also this position must ensure collaboration within Insight team to integrate and align data, research and methods as well as the prioritization of analytic work and resources.   - Act as an insight-driven business consultant and proactively work cross functionally with business leaders. This individual is also responsible for having subject matter expertise in specific analytic areas while also the ability to address broader analytic needs of a more ad hoc nature.  Responsibilities:  - Lead and develop high performance analytics capabilities to be able to deliver best in analytics/Insight support to the business  - Lead and train the team on best-in-class analytic methods by providing appropriate, meaningful and customized techniques  - Empower the team to identify the most appropriate tools, methods and processes that deliver the best insights to the organization  - Influence and engage with various diverse stakeholders of the businesses to drive the analytics centre of excellence, Champion Analytics and be the subject matter expert for the BUs   - Develop strategic talent and work planning that aligns with the organizational goals  - Endeavor to develop standardized frameworks for various business problems and drive operational cost savings to the business  - Leverage all the available data sources (Transaction, Research, Web trends, Marketing performance) etc and be able to identify opportunities for Business to capitalize on  - Demonstrates continuous learning and maintains a highly skilled and engaged workforce by aligning resource plans with business objectives  Requirements:  - MBA, BTech or MS Economics or any quantitative disciplines   - Overall 8 years of experience with at least 5-6 years of analytical experience   - Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others  - Track record of performance excellence  - Ability to hire, develop and manage a world class team  - Preferably candidates who have worked for eCommerce/Retail analytics  Candidates based in Bangalore preferred.
