Position Name: Technical Manager – West  Position Description:  - Provide pre-sales / post sales technical support and demonstrations, network designs and support  - Deliver technical product training and skill transfer to channel partners, integrators and end users  - Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of intelligent application switching issues and trends as they relate to Client's products  - To act as a Technical communication channel between Client's India Office and its business partners in / originating from all over India etc.  Requirements:  - 8-10 years technical pre sales / post-sales implementation support  - In-depth knowledge of OSI layers 2 – 7  - Demonstrated proficiency at system integration  - Experience with load balancers, firewalls, web servers and caching  - Knowledge of VPN, SSL and encryption related concepts  - Good presentation, speaking and negotiation skills  - Excellent work ethic  - Independent and self-motivated  - Work experience with system integrators like: tier1 - Wipro Infotech, HCL Infosystem, HCL Comnet, Dimension Data or Tier2 - 22/7, frontier, foresight, staunch , Digital track, JST.  - Layer 2 and Layer 3 experience must  - Server Load balancer / link load balancer experience will be advantage  - RFP / Bid handling experience  - Presentation skill for presenting solution  - Understanding of virtualization concepts (VMWARE, RHEV, Zen OR HyperV)  - Public Key Infrastructure understanding
