The following encompasses the profile of a Technical Architect:  Roles & Responsibilities:  - Should understand product Requirements and Business requirements, and convert them in to right design  - Should be capable of fitting newly designed Application in existing solution.  - Evaluate (R&D) Dev Tools, technologies and techniques required for Product/Solution Development.  - Create a common platform for creating Rapid application development of different Mobile Applications Features/Functionalities.  - Make Architectural decision - by choosing right stack, components, Technology, Product/Software Scaling. - Make Technology Decisions required for product/software development.  - Come up with new requirement and product lines based on market requirement.   - Mentor Product/Application Development teams with right design, approach, coding guidelines, advanced technologies etc-   - Diagnose, debug and fix critical issues reported by customers and other groups.  - Handle New Feature Development, optimizations and fix's to support new features.  - Understand and handle Performance and Scalability Requirements.  Required Skills:  - Broad knowledge on Telecom Products and solutions like PSTN Gateways, VOIP Servers (SBC- s, Gateways, Application Servers) and SoftSwitch.  - Experience in Designing and implementing OSS/BSS Solution.  - Deep Knowledge on Mobile Application development and VoIP Client Application Development.  - Strong Working Experience in Programming languages like C, C++ and Java.  - Prior Experience in architecting VoIP Products.  Functional Skills:  - Experience working with SIP, RTP, RTCP, XMPP, Diameter Protocols.  - Media/Voice (VOIP) Quality related experience.  - Understanding on PSTN (analog/Digital) gateways, Carrier Grade Solutions.  - Experience Designing and Developing Mobile Applications (VoIP).  - Strong real-time systems development background using various Design methodologies C/C++, Java.   - Experience with network and IP programming.  - Expertise on audio codec like G711,G722,G729,G723 etc. and video codec like H263, H264 and H264+.  - Knowledge of a wide range of debugging tools for memory/CPU profiling, protocol analysis.  - Experience in multi-tasking and/or multi-threaded environment.  - Experience in VOIP and Video products will be an advantage   - Solid understanding of Mobile Platform Internals  Experience Levels: 12-15 Years  Education Qualifications: B. Tech. / B.E. or M. Tech.
